Justin Robert
Burwinkel, the illustrious photographer and filmmaker, was born on
February 14, 1989 and grew up in rural Clermont County roughly twenty
miles away from the city of Cincinnati, Ohio. In his youth he attended
St. Louis School, the parochial school of St. Louis Church in
Owensville. His career at Archbishop McNicholas High School in Anderson
Township was marked with a great deal of success, including being a
four-year Honor Roll student, a member of both the National and National
Art Honor Societies, a student council representative, a Mardi Gras Honorgaurd member and the 2007 Prom King. Some of his other major
accomplishments include receiving Second Team of the Greater Cincinnati
League for Cross Country for two years, he was the Varsity Cross Country
captain, and he has done hundreds of hours of community service for such
groups as the Clermont County MRDD, Habitat for Humanity and other
worthy causes.
Some of
Burwinkel’s hobbies are music, football, and drawing, but perhaps most
of all he likes photography and film/video production. In fact, he
received Honorable Mention in the Cincinnati Art Association’s Overture
Awards and was a recipient of the Wolfstein Scholarship to the
University of Cincinnati’s DAAP Program upon receiving a perfect score
of 5 on the AP 2-Design Studio
Art portfolio from the College Board. He
is the proud founder of the Idiots United Film Group and has
affiliations with the musical group Tom Riddle & Friends and
Stuart's Rhino, and is an active personality featured in the O-Town
Rascals Productions.
What, you might ask, does such an active and busy person do in his spare
time? Burwinkel enjoys participating in outdoor activities such as
skiing, bicycling, and outdoor leisure's; as well as listening to his
favorite bands Juanes, Ekhymosis, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to name
a few.
Burwinkel has been employed as an image editor and event photographer at
Robert Glutz Photography, where he began working in May 2007. |
